This listing is for one completely assembled "plug and play" Theremaniacs Theremin! Theremin plugs into an amplifier with a standard 1/4 inch guitar cord. It will sit quietly until your hand is about three feet away. As your hand comes nearer to the antenna, the pitch gradually becomes higher until it is inaudible. Covers 7 octaves - from soaring high notes through great growling lows.
Theremin is powered by a quality 9 volt alkaline (included). AC adapters will add hum and instability so we only use pure DC battery power!  One alkaline battery will last about 500 hours (several years of average use) and is easy to replace. The sound does not suffer as battery power is consumed during use. Draws only 1 milliamp, far less than just the LED on an ordinary effects pedal. Set it up anywhere you want!
