Description
Pipeline Tap Tremolois the first tremolo effect in the manufacturer's offer, but the Danes have already got used to us that each effect of their production offers more than you might think. With the Pipeline at your feet, you have access from the warm, organic-sounding sine curves of the 1960s to the helicopter-like spinning blades. When you're looking for a classic surf tone or a thick, jelly-like tone, Vintage mode has what you need, while Square mode delivers more aggressive, coarse-hewn tones.
The tremolo effect is created by the cyclical volume change in a repeating wave-shaped pattern, the waveform of which (sine, triangular, square wave, etc.) determines the speed with which the volume changes between maximum and minimum values, where sine and triangular waves are responsible for softer modulation, and square waves can generate a stronger strobe effect. The TC Electronic Pipeline Tap Tremolo lets you tap the tempo with the main button, while the Subdivision knob lets you transform the tapped quarter note tempo into a different rhythm based on it, using eighth notes or hex triplets. An additional option is the Custom function, where the sequencer is hidden, allowing you to write up to four measures in different divisions and loop them into a self-repeating sequence.
The Pipeline Tap Tremolo
, next to the Speed and Depth speed and sweep depth controls, also has a separate Volume control, thanks to which you can compensate for loss in the volume of some settings by up to 6dB. The possibilities of the device are significantly extended by a free add-on in the form of the TonePrint Editor program, where we will not only introduce our own corrections, but also program the sequencer in Pipeline Tap Tremolo, download ready-made settings prepared by Artists from around the world or update the device's software. The standard for TC Electronic effects is true bypass with an optional buffering mode.
