2011 KTM RC8R

Description

KTM RC8R, 2nd owner, OZ wheels, plus OEM orange Marchesini wheels (pix to be added soon), many custom parts, Carbon Fiber, unique tail tidy, OEM blinkers and mirrors removed but all parts are included in purchase.  Mechanically perfect except issues listed below.  Cam chain and pulleys were replaced by KTM early on, as that was a known design issue.  EarthX 24cell Li battery, new rear tire (buy extras, you will need them every 1000-1500 miles 😎.)  Radiator guard, tinted bubble windscreen as OEM windscreen looked too flat, to me.  First owner was a personal friend who could no longer ride it, I am 72 and can no longer ride it.  Best garage candy IMHO.  Trophy winner at Barbers bike show back in the day.  But, it’s a rider, that still shows well.  Only issues are that it struggles for neutral on start up.  Problem goes away after a few miles.  And screen menu button is squashed, so it stays on current screen.  You can get the other screens by fidgeting with button, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth.  Current screen has most relevant data and gear indicator in large print.  No speed limiter, I have had it to 177mph, and it had every indication it go to 200mph, if you’re so inclined. Very stable at speed, thanx to Cogent Dynamics fork upgrade and its own design.  I have not been on any other bike as stable at speed, except it’s naked brother, the 1290 Super Duke.
